The Somaliland Medical Association (SLMA) successfully concluded a two-day training on “Initial Assessment of the Trauma Patient” at Frantz Fanon University. Led by Dr. Khalid Sh. Abdilahi, the training strengthened healthcare professionals’ knowledge and practical skills in trauma assessment, bleeding control, shock management, and emergency care. The program is part of SLMA’s ongoing commitment to Continuing Medical Education (CME) and improving emergency healthcare services in Somaliland. SLMA also appreciated Frantz Fanon University for hosting the training and supporting medical education and professional development.
